This zip file contains information on interfacing a PIC with
a VGA moniter. It contains:

video.asm The main source file (MPASM assembler)
video.bmp the circuit diagram

The whole thing will work on a prototyping breadboard. The resonator I
use is the Panasonic ceramic resonator with built in capacitors.

When you get the whole thing built and the moniter connected, turn the
pot to its full resistance, then turn on the moniter and power up the
circuit. Slowly adjust the pot until you can see the numbers without
being them being too bright. If this is all done right, you should see
large numbers that read "4:57". I originally wanted this to be a clock
but the resonator wasn't fast enough. You could probably modify this to
work in color, maybe even make moving objects.

If you modify the project, don't forget to credit me as the originator.
